Because a small minority of people are (a) too immature to understand the difference between a sensible question and nonsense, (b) just here to impress their school friends on how silly they can be or (c) they're intent on deliberately posting nonsense in the vain attempt to bring this site to a halt !
There could be many reasons for this, but in my opinion, people either:
A) Do not know how to use their own brain, and would rather use mine.
or
B) Know that I'm bored and am lurking around to answer their pointless questions.
Because - sadly, there will always be a tiny minority of idiots on here ! WikiAnswers is an 'open' site that currently does not require every user to register. This creates the problem that 'vandals' can 'hide' behind anonymous web-addresses - safe in the knowledge that it's unlikely they'll be caught.
Whilst us supervisors have the power to block people AND web-sites from contributing, blocking a web-site prevents every user at that location. Therefore - if the vandal is at a school - all pupils at that school would be prevented from using this site.
Most people's reason for asking random questions is to observe the response they get when they ask them.
Ultimately, because they feel the need to be funny and crude. They picture the site more as a joke, something they regret after finding out their account has been blocked.
This question is nonsense, but think, "why do people ask nonsense"?
People usually ask absurd questions when they don't know what to say. you usually can tell from the question if it's that or if it's just that they like asking absurd questions.
Although most people that use this site are very good with their answers, you do get some people that answer questions incorrectly or place nonsense answers on here.
Some questions attract vandalism, when people change good answers to nonsense. Therefore, those answers are 'locked'.
I'm sure you do... I love when people puts up nonsense questions...
Some questions are ambiguous. Some people may misread or misunderstand the question. There are also people that just post nonsense and spam.
Yes, definitely. When people ask serious questions, they do not want nonsense answers. There have been cases where people wrote nonsense answers on this site to health-related questions, which could endanger someone's life. Even if the questions are not health-related, still a person asking a question is seeking information, not gibberish.
Absolutely ! Every user here is a real person - except for the automated system that flags nonsense answers.
who? please don't ask nonsense questions
Cyberbullying questions will get you blocked quickly and most times without warning, nonsense questions, and inappropriate questions.
Maybe for you, not for someone reading your answers.
my answer is blue.this site told me nonsense because i failed five good questions in a roll.so my point is stop trusting this people but they only got one of my questions correct out of ten questions
There are actual people who are answering these questions. If a question does not have enough information, or is vague, then it may not be able to be answered properly. Then some people think it's fun to post nonsense answers to questions. Usually these are caught and fixed, but remember, there are actual people doing a lot of this work (a lot of volunteers in their spare time).
