Every case is different:
1. They weren't raised that way
2. They think it's "garbage and a waste of time"
3. They don't want their children addicted
4. They don't want their children exposed to "filth of any kind"
5. They think it's bad for their children's health
6. They want their children to stay "grounded in reality"
7. They believe there are other things in life better than television.
Whatever the case, I think these parents are TOO STRICT and don't believe in a healthy balance - it's either all or nothing to them!
they dont!
well i actually dissagree cause parents can protect children from tv they eaither do or dont but ways u can is watch at least 2 episodes of the tv show before ur kid watches it or watch it with them
Yes it's an effective punishment. However, a more lasting consequence for their offense may be to do additional chores, entertain a younger sibling, spend the time reading, etc. Taking away TV time over and over does not make a consequence real, however easily it is monitored.
NO.There are too many bad ,immoral programmes on the TV.Children are incapable of making the right choice for themselves. It is the parents' resposabilities to guide and protect their children so they will not go astray.
watching tv for an extent maby becaus your parents say to not to do somthing to protect you or to learn from your mistakes
Yes, children gets influenced by tv or films more than parents.
Many parents believe that prime-time TV programs should be carefully censored in order to protect children from accidental exposure to "adult" material.
havfdrs
It is up to them if they ban it or not. Parents need to monitor what their children watch.
The role of parents are to always protect your children. They have to be a good role model, and they have to guide their children in life.
Parents are required by law to protect their children. Not to mention the fact that they protect you because they love you.
Some parents believe television is "bad" and don't want their children exposed to "garbage."
That is up to the discretion of the parents.
First of all, the answer will NOT be in a essay! We will not do your homework for you. I think children are more influenced by TV and cinema, but TV especially, than by their parents. What they see and hear though is something parents correct them on though. And of course it matters what programs they watch. That is always up to the parents.
Television is a great entertainment for children and parents
