Howler monkeys live high in the tree canopy, where there are few predators. However, they don't jump from branch to branch like most monkeys, instead they climb branch to branch. Therefor, I don't believe that howler monkeys can easily escape their predators. One of the predators of the howler monkeys are Harpy eagles, against which howler monkeys have no defense except to hide.
Howler monkeys have 20 digits just like humans do with 10 fingers and 10 toes. Their first two fingers on their hands are seat apart and opposable from the other three.

Nearly nothing, besides their names and climbing abilities. Spider monkeys, with their long furry limbs and tail, looked to early European explorers like spiders crawling on their webs.
There is very little wildlife in San Jose, Costa Rica, and although the climate is suitable for howler monkeys, there are virtually none in the capital. The most abundant creature, by far, are humans. One- third of Costa Rica's population lives in the Central Valley. If you would like to see monkeys, go to Manuel- Antonio beach. This beach is full with prosperous monkeys.
Yes they are. They give birth directly (No eggs) and live on land their whole life (Taking baths and the like is technically not living in water.)
The offspring of a monkey is called an infant or baby. They also have similar mother-baby relationships like humans do.
