The Lord's Prayer begins -" Our Father which art in Heaven." It was given to the 12 disciples by our Lord Jesus Christ at their request to him to teach them to pray.

We call it the Lord's Prayer as it was given by the Lord Jesus for our Lord God in heaven.

because people believe if you say the lords prater then you'll be absolved of your sins and you'll be cleansed or a new person.
