I had the same problem - sort of. First off, does your check engine light come on? My car sometimes does this - about once every two weeks or so, and I had the code read one time. It is the output speed sensor. I also had the same problem. Every few weeks my car would start to act like it wanted to stall out while I was driving. It would do that for a couple days and then it would lurch forward once and the check engine light would come on. When that happened I would lose power and not be able to accelerate for a second or two. Then it would be fine but the light would stay on for a day or two. I took it in this week and they told me that it was the input speed sensor. They also said that the dealer suggested that the output and input sensors should be replaced at the same time so I had they replace both. The parts ran me about $75 dollars each plus labor. How much was labor, or time involved??
