A mattress is designed to be flexible, so that when you lie on it, it will give under your weight. This makes it more comfortable. If you compare the feeling of lying on a concrete floor, which does not indent, you will notice that the mattress is more comfortable.

Why does mass cause gravity videos?

For a very simple explanation, I will use an example used by Einstein himself...Imagine the universe as a mattress, then imagine mass as a ball. The bigger the ball, the more it presses into the mattress and creates an indent. If you put other things in this indent they will fall towards the ball. That it basically how gravity works.Hope that helped :)====================Beautiful. Except . . . why does the ball press the mattress and create an indent ?

What are the benefits of a regular mattress versus a pillowtop mattress?

Main benefit is that you can turn it upside down. The pillow top mattress you cannot, you can only rotate it. That causes in getting indent in a mattress where you sleep. That means you will need to change a pillow top mattress sooner than a regular one. But you need to compare apples with apples. Good pillow top mattress will last you longer then a cheap regular mattress. Check consumers product reviews sites such as www.reviewseverest.com to read reviews by people who purchased those mattresses. And for sure buy from the place that has exchange policy. http://reviewseverest.com/category/22/Mattresses
