I got the same issue with my 2006 Freestar. I'll let you know whats up, had the Ford Dealership service guy drive around with me today, I was conveniently low on gas so he sez... Ahh that's your low gas alarm. I filled up, still there. Someone must have an answer!
The audible warning sound, for your 2000 Chevy Cavalier, can be fixed by replacing the sounding device. The sounding device can be purchased at most auto-parts stores.
Notification and warning
because many warning signs on the road are audible
the generator warning light - it indicates malfunction in charging system. The light should go off once the engines started, if it comes on while driving, the generator drive belt and the charging system needs checked.
The Vectra warning light is called the engine management warning light. It tells you that you need to get your Vectra checked by a mechanic.
Get your engine checked
It tells you the ABS system should be checked if the light stays on while driving. It could also be an electrical problem like the ignition switch.
If the warning lights come on when you start the car, but then go back off, there is no reason for alarm. However, if the lights stay on, or come on when you are driving you should probably stop driving as soon as you can and take the car to the mechanic.
i think warning signals mean that something need to be checked on the vehicle, so it would really be an indication that mechanically something is wrong and needs to be checked out
I checked, you are not a member, therefore you can not be warned.
