The 2 are probably unrelated, but regardless of the rib pain, you should go and see your doctor or gynaecologist about the fact that you haven't had your period for 5 months, just to get checked out that everything's OK.

Have you taken a pregnancy test yet? Usually your uterus isn't quite that high by 5 months pregnant, so it kind of eliminates the possibility of having a foot in your ribs... That isn't till the 7th or 8th month in pregnancy, but it is possible that you are that far along, if your last few periods were light, it may be that you are that far along.
