Why does my mouse take me to windows search when I left double click on a desktop icon instead of opening the program I want. It just changed one day and I don't know why.....?

I might know what it is, If it's just those icons it could be a missing shortcut. If the program was moved or deleted then the shortcut won't work. You'll need to find the program yourself, or try looking for it in the start menu, once you find it just drag it to the desktop, it will create a new shortcut.
