Science has a problem with answering it, because people just started to become scared of it. There is no exactreason why. Some people don't like scary stuff, so they just don't like that day. Many bad things have occured on that day too.

What are two examples showing the incompatibility between science and superstition?

Every superstition is an example of the incompatibility of science and superstition. As I type, it is Friday the 13th, thought by some to be an unlucky day. So, where does this belief come from? For this conclusion to have any scientific validity, it would have to be the result of a large statistical study of the comparative frequency of good or bad events happening on Friday the 13th as compared to other days of the year. No such study exists. You can apply the same criticism to any other superstition just as easily.

What is the probability your 13th birthday will fall on Friday the 13th?

Well..., first you have to be born on the 13th of some month. But your birth-day has to be 13 years before a Friday the 13th in the same month. So the probability is low. It also depends on the month you were born. A very lucky,..AND TRUE..., example is my 13th birthday. I'll turn 13 on Friday the 13th of July in 2012. So...I'm rare. LOW PROBABILITY!!
