Needs tune up, loose, damaged or unbalanced torque converter/flywheel, fuel injector clogged, TPS out of adjustment, bad computer, water in fuel, older engine with heavy deposits on piston, abnormal internal engine friction I:E: Low oil, too hot.
When you are parked or in neutral while the car idles, your engine will shake. The vehicle will also get poor gas milage. Bad gas can also cause engine failure.
Having a bad rod bearing could cause a truck to make a loud knocking noise and shake when driving at high speeds. The engine having a coolant leak or an engine timing problem could also cause the knocking noise.
I want to know that really badly too!
If your car shakes while underway, your tires have worn incorrectly from misalignment. If it shakes while in park or not moving, your engine is misfiring.
Check for a busted engine or tranny mount.
One of the belts might have broken in the tire.
There is a good possibility that the harmonic balancer is bad...if it is, it'll destroy the belts and possibly more on the front (right side ) of the engine.
bad engine mounts
Miss or vacuum leak.

Most definitely. Any miss will cause the engine to shake. A vacuum leak will also cause this.
Many things could cause an engine to shake. One, for example, would be low coolant or oil levels.
