carbon fiber just weights less than traditional aluminum. they use it on alot of higer end cars so that weight their power to weight ratio will be better. Most SUV's and high performance cars have carbon fiber roofs to keep the center of gravity lower, thus giving you better grip and such.
The Advantages of a carbon fiber hood are that it makes the car lighter because carbon fiber is a stronger and lighter material than the material tradition car hoods are constructed from.
I believe carbon fiber is the best material
The lightest material for car bodies is carbon fiber. It is a complex weave of carbon fibers that, when baked, create an incredibly strong yet lightweight material. Carbon fiber is availiable to the average driver through aftermarket panel suppliers.
carbon fibre is used to make the car lighter and at the same time the material is strong
carbon fiber
Unlike almost every other production car made, the Veyron's body is sculpted from carbon fiber, an extremely light, durable and expensive material.
Carbon Fiber
for car
Formula One race cars are constructed primarily of Carbon Fiber.
carbon steel, carbon fiber, they are light weight, strong and fairly inexpensive
The pod, (the shell around the driver) is made out of "Carbon Fiber", excluding the metal parts, a combination of plastic, fiber-glass and again carbon fiber. Answerwhat is a car made ofCarbon FibreThe various components are made of different materials the chassis is usually made of carbon fibre, which is lighter and relatively stronger as compared to most metals.alternatively graphite fiber, carbon graphite or CF, is a material consisting of extremely thin fibers about 0.005-0.010 mm in diameter and composed mostly of carbon atoms. The carbon atoms are bonded together in microscopic crystals that are more or less aligned parallel to the long axis of the fiber. The crystal alignment makes the fiber very strong for its size. Several thousand carbon fibers are twisted together to form a yarn, which may be used by itself or woven into a fabric. Carbon fiber has many different weave patterns and can be combined with a plastic resin and wound or molded to form composite materials such as carbon fiber reinforced plastic (also referenced as carbon fiber) to provide a high strength-to-weight ratio material.
You alone cannot repair it. If you are talking about body work. The car is carbon fiber, and if you are asking this question, i feel that you lack the skills to repair a carbon fiber car.
