All religions are against sex education because sex education does not forbid sex but explains it more and provides people information that helps them stay safe from STD's while practecing sex where as religions forbid premarial sex and stresses more on the fact that sex is only for reproduction.

∙ 12y agowell the reason why it isn't being taught is because staff and the principal feel that it is very innapropiate for kids to know about theese thing and that it is better if the parents teach it to their kids. Our kids are sexual beings from the moment they are conceived. Pretending that they don't need to know anything about even the most basic sexual issues before they are teens is willful foolishness. We might want them to wait until they are twenty-five, college educated, employed and legally married to an opposite sex partner before they experience sex for the first time, but that is a fantasy land expectation based on our own prejudices and unease. Kids have sex when, where and with whom they decide whether they are properly informed or not..

∙ 12y agoA lack of sexual education in high school education usually stems from your particular region being rather religious in its background, as well as rather conservative in its views on what is and is not acceptable for children to know. Personally I find this rediculous, but to each their own. As long as you remember, keep it safe, wear a condom/take the pill!
