Chemistry is a fundamental branch of science which is necessary to understand such subjects as Biology, chemical manufacturing processes, environmental issues, medical and dietary issues, and lots of other things. It is difficult even to understand the label on many food packages, without some knowledge of chemistry. Of course, the amount of education that you will actually need in this subject does depend to some extent on your occupation. Technical fields have a greater need of scientific training than non-technical fields.

Studying chemistry helps to understand the world around us at a molecular level, explaining interactions and transformations that occur in nature and in technology. It forms the basis for advancements in medicine, materials science, environmental conservation, and many other fields. It enhances critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and scientific literacy.

Three reasons to study Chemistry: 1- Chemistry is known as the "central science" because all other fields can relate back to chemistry (ie. It's highly important in fields such as Biology, Physics, and Engineering)

2-Chemists study matter: its properties, composition, structure, etc. and are especially interested in changes which result from chemical reactions. We study atoms, molecules, and other chemical compounds. Specifically what is studied depends on the specialty(ie. Organic Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, Polymer Chem, Theoretical Chem, Computational/Physical/Analytical chem.)

3- Studying any science helps you to understand the world around you, and that helps you to know what's going on and how to react to things.

Here are some things that chemistry is responsible for:

- preparation of plastic materials

- preparation of pharmaceutical drugs

- preparation of pesticide

- preaparation of dyes

- preparation of cosmetics

- preparation of papers and inks

- preparation of some building materials

- preparation of many food additives

- chemical analysys of any material

- forensic investigations

haha that's a very good question that many people ponders about it. I believe chemistry enlightens us to the world of chemicals. Well, although chemistry is not important what so ever in our future life, don't you wanna go to college? chemistry is like a core course. And knowing chemistry is quiete cool. INstead of saying water, imagine urself saying "may i have a glass of h2o?" u can just imagine yourself being so attractive by the waiters and if that waitress is hot, there you go.

Another reason why we study chemstiry is that we needed one more science course and chemistry was the only one left. Honestly, biology requires a lot of studying and physics require a lot of math. Thus, chemistry is quiete the easiest. Haha, chemistry is quiete fun u know~
