There is no cure, because no doctor's have found out a cure to HIV/AIDS yet.
So they have tried to make cures but the cures have not worked.
The HIV Virus mutates regularly; becoming resistant to treatment. Since it is a virus, it modifies the DNA of cells that it attacks (T-cells) so that the previously healthy cells themselves become manufacturers of more HIV virii.
Additionally, the HIV virus attacks cells that are normally used to DEFEND your body against viral attacks. So even if a healthy T-Cell were to go after the HIV virus in your system, it would lose the battle, and become a virus-generating cell itself.
There is an EXCELLENT video available here

... which shows how HIV replicates, and some of the ways that current treatment works to attempt to block the HIV Replication cycle.
HIV can't be cured because it is a virus, and the only way virus's are destroyed is by the immune system, and because HIV kills the immune systems helper T cells which tell the immune system where there is an infection and that HIV takes over a cell, the virus cannot be stopped with today's medical technology.
Fever is a symptom and not a disease and we don't actually cure it, we make it temporarily go away until it's normal time limit is over (usually max 3 days). The problem with the HIV virus is that it's not constant, it changes its characteristics. So the first medicine works on the first version characteristic but not on the second version characteristic.
HIV has been incurable because the antiviral therapies used to treat these viral infections only target replicating viruses. In infected patients, some cells have HIV viral genomes latently present, which are not targeted by therapies currently used.
Patients suffering from HIV who undergo HAART therapy (combination of drugs that treats HIV) can stop actual HIV virus from replicating. However, sometimes, HIV can enter a cell, integrate its genome into the chromosome, but do nothing. To the immune system and drugs, the cell looks completely normal, so drugs cannot target the HIV present in this state. However, the cell can at a later date produce virus.
This phenomena when HIV lays dormant is very advantageous for it to remain in the body. This is illustrated nicely in the first diagram :

(If someone knows how, please insert the diagram directly to the page)
Because it is a virus that uses the body's own immune system against it. It is difficult to develop a drug that attacks the virus but leaves the body's immune system intact.
no viral disease has a cure because viruses do not have anything to target like bacteria.
HIV cannot be cured yet. The reason for this is because the virus keeps changing. For example: Scientists find a cure for it but in 24 hours it will stop working because the Virus has changed
Because Technology is not that advanced yet but there is currently a medication that will slow down the effect of AIDS / HIV.
There is simply no known cure.
No; there is no cure for HIV infection.
yes
No. AZT is a medicine that when used in a combination with other HIV drugs can be be part of effective treatment.
There is no current cure for HIV. See the related question(s) for more info.
Currently, there is no cure for AIDS or the HIV virus.
No, HIV (which you probably mean, HIV +) can not be cured with herbals. You know why? Because there is NO cure yet for HIV+, even with medicine. BUt being HIV+ does not mean you will get AIDS. There are very good medicines today that will help people who are HIV+ live long, healthy lives. Herbals are a good, big part of helping someone with HIV+ live a long and healthy life, but they can not make the HIV+ go away.
yes it can bot not cured i think.
You can get better with treatment. But it can't be cured... yet.
A bacteria can't cause AIDS. AIDS is a virus which is why it can't be cured.
No one was cured of HIV. HIV stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus, and since viruses cannot be rid of from one's body, HIV is incurable. It is treatable however, and a person can live a long and healthy life while still having the virus, although it would take a considerable amount of money.
people can get hiv that's what it is called by getting people can get kill and hiv can be spreaded around the world and hiv can not be cured. it is true that's what i know abotu it
There is no cure for AIDS, there has been only one person cured of HIV who was cured through intensive stem-cell treatment.
