We all need to spend time with our friends and we need to be able to do this without someone looking over our shoulder.
no definately not!
The extreme is to danger for the kids,so parents always worry about the children ,it's parents' duty to make their children be healthy, and in order to do this the parents always don't allow the kids to take part in extreme sports. As a child, you should understand your parents because of their love.
That is a personal matter for each individual to decide
Of course not. Now stop whining, and listen to your parents.
It all depends on the content. The best bet is to follow ESRB ratings and allow them to watch movies/tv based on those guidelines.
Parents have the responsibility of making sure that their children are safe at all times. Thus, the best way to get your parents to allow you to do things, is to reassure your parents that you will be safe doing what you want to do. Another responsibility of parents is to ensure that their children get a good education. It is easier to get permission from your parents to do things if you get good grades.
I really don't think you should let them. They are her parents let them do their job. Maybe you should start with a playdate. Let them grow to it. To them that's their little girl.
nope
Generally no it is not selfish of a wife not to let her husband to allow his friends to live with them. If they are close friends and have lost their home and need to get on their feet and you have the room then yes, for the sake of humanity one should take only a family in (whether it's one couple and no children or with children.) If they are single then they are adults and therefore should not use your home as a flop house. Stand your ground if this is the case. The work load will be on your shoulders and remind your husband of that.
they don't. its the children who insist. parents just capitulate because sooner or later, they are going to do it anyway.
Many places allow you to legally "divorce" your parents or children. If your son is legally an adult than you should be able to do this, if not, don't bother.
It is very permissible for you to home school your child and still allow them to have friends. Many communities that have a high rate of children who are home schooled offer activities for children to interact. Social skills are an important part of childhood development and should be included in a home school curriculum.
