Ahhh, reproduction. The meaning of life. The process of reproduction is the fundamental meaning of why we live - we live to reproduce and we reproduce to live. Not in the individual sense, but think broader, in the species sense, in fact all the way to the "living things" sense. The reason that we reproduce is simply to create more of the same organisms as us; the closer we get to cloning ourselves, the closer we get to perfectly perpetuating our genes.
