Look, this will probably sound really soppy and all but here's your answer... in my opinion. You've probably heard this a million times, but it's true: Life is what you make of it. Ask yourself... why does your life suck? Get a piece of paper and just list all of the answers. Then, try and find a way to throw these problems out of your life. If there are so many problems that they fill the paper front and back, you may want to consider starting your life afresh. By this I am NOT referring to suicide at all. I mean stuff like; moving somewhere new, starting a new job or even starting a family. Consider the above - by committing suicide you are probably missing out on the best of life.
Emotionally? No. There is much debate to even decide to commit suicide. Physically? Maybe. It depends on how you are doing it, and if it is successful.
Not true. People who threaten suicide are "asking for help"; it means they're wondering if people out there will actually help them. If they don't find that help, then they still will commit suicide. Even if they do get help, they'll still probably need to see a professional. People who don't threaten suicide are thinking it's too hopeless and they can't get help. Even though this is how a lot of suicides happen, more often than not people voice their suicidal thoughts.
Sohrab didn't commit suicide, he TRIED. The reason for this is that he didn't want to go back to an orphanage, for even a short amount of time, because of all the bad experiences he has had in his past. He would rather kill himself than relive anything like before.
Yes. Unless you succeed, people are going to wonder why you'd want to commit suicide. There'll be therapy, counselling, interventions etc. And if you don't die, you might have done yourself irrepairable damage to liver, kidney, brain, making the rest of your life even more miserable.
