As India has chosen 82 and a half degree longitude as the standard meridian of India hence, the time at each state is same although the sun rises differently. Let's take Russia, it has no standard meridian for the whole country so people find it difficut beacause when a person moves from one stateto the other he/she always has to adgust the time.
Hope it's useful.
Ans. The local times of places which lie on different meridians are bound to differ. The sun rises two hours earlier in Arunachal Pradesh as compared to Gujarat in the west. This causes a time lag of two hours from Gujarat to Arunachal Pradesh. To avoid confusion due to time differences and to have a standard time for reference, the time along the meridian (82° 30' E) passing through Mirzapur (Uttar Pradesh) has been taken as the standard time for the entire country. This is why the watches show the same time.
Because there is standard time for India as acountry. This is IST - Indian standard time. It will remain same in state of India.
because the sun rises in the east and also ahead by 4 min every meridian. so while going to west it covers a distance of 4 min every meridian.
They are both in the same time zone.
?
Arunachal pardeh experiences first and Gujarat experiences the sunrise last in India
the time difference between Gujarat and Arunachal Pradesh is of 2 hours as they both lie on different longitudes. longitudes have a difference of 4 minutes between each other so if we calculate all the time differences of the longitudes between Gujarat and Arunachal Pradesh , the answer is 120 minutes or 2 hours..!!

D
due to the longitudinal extent , the sun rises from east to west .arunachal pradesh lies in the eastern part of india and jaisalmer in western part so the people of the arunachal pradesh sees the sun first than people og gujarat sees ..........time difference is 2 hours .
Because as we move 1° it take 4 min to move . As Gujarat is far away from it the sun come to Gujarat by some some ° and time increases so , when the sun rises in Arunachal pradesh if ex at 6 o clock then it will rise in Gujarat according to its distance away from arunachal Pradesh
this thing sux. how can they do this to me. since i've got foold by sum1 i'm gonna fool out sum1. find me out if u can... FOOLS :P
From the longitudinal extent of India it is observed that the longitudinal expense is about 30 degree from west to east. This means that there would be a time-lag of two hours approximately from Gujarat to Arunachal Pradesh. To avoid such differences in local time, Indian Standard Time has been fixed to give whole country a uniform time. The local time of standard meridian of 82 degree 32' is observed as the standard time by whole country.
