The same reason it's important to us; it offers a moral guidepost against which we can base our lives and gives hope for a better life beyond the one we have here (or just punishment for the wicked in the life beyond).
Well people/countries have different religions (you probably do too) so it's simple peoples religion is important them
Greek Orthodox.
Most Greeks are Greek Orthodox Christians.
Greek people are part of the Christian faith. Their religion is Greek Orthodox.
For the Ancient Greeks, their religion (what we call Greek Mythology) was everything. Their dad-to-day lives were focused on and pretty much revolved around their religion. Their religion was a life-style for them, centered on the gods they worshipped.
They were the religion of the ancient Greeks.
I don't know about in modern times, but in Ancient times, virtually all Greeks believed in their gods, which we call Greek Mythology. For the Greeks, their religion was much more important in their lives than religion is for many people today. In fact, their religion was a lifestyle for them. As for modern days, I'm hazarding the guess that there are a lot less people who are greek or live in Greece that believe in ancient Greek Mythology. Hope I helped! :)
The Greeks had the greatest influence of Roman religion. In their early days the Romans adopted five Greek deities. They also adopted Greek myths and linked their gods to the Greek ones. The Etruscans and the Sabines also had an important influence on Roman religion
The Greek myths are the collection of stories about the gods who were the religion of the ancient Greeks. Yea how dumb are you?
no... they are more like folk tales... Greek Mythology has nothing to do with religion.
Greek lyric poetry often related the religious myths of the Greeks. Greek religion was based on mythology.
Well....theyre basically the same thing! XP mythology was religion to the greeks: their greek gods were like our Christian god.
Likely she was adopted into what religion became Greek myth when the Greeks encountered and absorbed other people - already in worship to a deity that was her likeness - into their civilization.
