Is he less experienced than you? Maybe you should look at that aspect. Ask him what he has or has not experienced. Also, has he been forward with you? Has he brought up getting physical? You might be taking it for granted that he's up to scratch, experienced, with lovemaking or petting. Don't make him feel uncomfortable, just tell him what your're thinking.
