There are a number of different reasons why a girl as young as 15 might want to end her own life. There are mental illnesses, clinical depression or Bipolar disorder, which can cause people to feel extremely unhappy for no apparent reason. Some girls become depressed because of rejection by some boyfriend whom they believe they can't live without. There can be other shocks, in the form of family problems, medical problems, financial problems, legal problems etc. A foolishly promiscuous 15 year old could be pregnant, could have contracted HIV, and might be so embarrassed that she feels it would be better to die than to live with the shame. Some people are in a hurry to grow up and develop drug addictions or gambling addictions at an early age. So lots of things are possible.
