My mother dog is doing that too but she is getting a little better now that they are about 5 weeks old. The Daddy dog wants to rough house and growl at the puppies and today Mom came to the puppies defense again. Neither of us are to sure of Dad's intentions.

∙ 15y agoThis is actually serious behavior; you should get a dog trainer to consult with you to determine why this is happening and how to deal with it. Don't let it go too long.
