I have a 2003 Town and Country where the speedometer stopped working. Apparently a low battery conditon caused the needle to end up on the wrong side of the peg. Perhaps this will work for your '05 Caravan. Look closely at your needle to see if is on the lower side of the peg (i.e. the peg prevents it from moving up to indicate your speed), if so, this may work. By holding down the trip reset button (no key needed) for 5 to 7 seconds, you can initiate a dash diagnostic. Release the button once you see the odometer start to flash codes. Nearly every light on the dash will light up at some point as well as the gauges move around (kinda scary if your not expecting it). At the end, the needle should return (via the long way around) to the correct side of the needle. Good Luck!
they used to be on the front wheels?
Most likely the VSS. Vehicle Speed Sensor. It is mounted on the side of the transmission.
If the radio in a 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan quits working, it is likely a blown fuse. It could also be faulty wiring or a defective radio.
i replace my rear brake shoes on 2001 dodge grand caravan and my emergency brake is still not working
The trip odometer button on a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan SE model is located on the dash near the speedometer. It is held down for 5 seconds to reset the trip to zero.
Electrical failure. Perhaps power is not getting from the battery to those components.
