no it will not, i currently have 24s on my caprice and had them on for like 1 year already and NO your tranni wont mess up..! and i always burn out with them lol you should be fine.
If Im Not Mistaken, There Was No Base Model For 1996, There Was Only The Classic Model. The Impala SS has a heavy duty suspension and a good deal more power. It has 17 inch wheels and low profile tires.
yes u can
in order for 22 to fit your 1988 caprice you will have to lift your car 4 to 5 inch
Yes it will.
Most likely a 350 cubic inch or 400 cubic inch engine
jea it will but it wud luk betta on 28"
no the body will have to be stretched an lifed for 24 inch rims to fit an it could cause other problems to vehicle
yes 20' rims will fit with the right tire size..
I have 24 inch rims on my 88 Chevy Caprice. You will need longer springs all the way around and you will need to extend the rear trailing arms by taking them off and taking them to a welding shop and add 2 inches to it.
if you lift it and modify the suspension. I had a 95 caprice classic on 36's and it was the bounciest ride ever. i wouldnt bother with it
yes just go wit a 35 or 30 series tire i know from experience
Yes. In fact you can fit up to 22" without a lift, as long as you get a real low profile tire on it.
