Yes. For sure. When you get pulled over they are going to ask you to get out of the car and they aren't going to tell you you have a warrant until you are in handcuffs. If you question the cops about why you have to get out of the car they are just going to taser you. They will not answer your questions. No matter how cooperative you try to be they are going to repeatedly yell, "stop resisting!" They are going to go out of their way to stack up new charges on you. For example, every time they scream stop resisting that is another count of resisting arrest. If you try to guard your face from being kicked or try to protect yourself in any way from the pain of the batons whacking you that will be a battery on a police officer charge, resisting arrest, interfering with an investigation, disorderly conduct, provocation, and failure to obey a lawful order. They are going to search the vehicle and the area around the vehicle with a K-9 dog. If you have any cash on you they will automatically consider it drug money and confiscate it. They will steal your cell phone and tow the vehicle. Indiana is going to take their sweet time to pick you up. If they can't make it to pick you up in the allotted time then California will make you think they are releasing you. They will even let you walk out the door of the jail. As soon as you walk outside there will be cops waiting there to re-arrest you for the warrant and the waiting period starts all over. They can repeat this process for years if they feel like it. We have no rights unless we are cops, judges, lawyers, or celebrities. Indiana will not give you any credit time for the days you spend in the other jails. When you get in front of the judge in Indiana they are going to give you a speech about running from the law and sentence you to your full original suspended sentence and not give you any credit time for any days you may have done on the case previously. When you get out of prison you be placed on parole. You will violate. You will likely run again and the process will start all over. Flee to Mexico before it's too late!

If you get in trouble in North Carolina and end up in Jail, Your info will be ran in the NCIC Database . When it comes up that you skipped out on Probation in Indiana, there will be a Probation Violation Warrant with your name on it from Indiana and they will then call your PO in Indiana and ask them if they want to extradite you back to Indiana. If they do, You will end up going back to jail in Indiana and spending the original term of your Probation grant in jail or prison.

When Indiana issues a bench warrant for probation violation but it says limited extradition for Indiana Kentucky and Ohio only does that mean that they won't extradite that person living in Florida?

Yes, it means that Indiana will only enforce the warrant in the Sates of Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. Any police stop in other states would see that Indiana will not extradite based on the bench warrant alone. However, if the person is picked up on other serious charges in Flordia, Indiana may decide to pursue it further. It's more a question of efficiency/finances.Additional View: It must also be kept in mind that a sentence of probation is a sentence for being found guilty of a criminal offense. The statute of limitations will not run out on this violation, in effect you are an "escapee" and the un-expired term of your sentence will NOT "go away."It would be much better for you to return and face the music. Eventually 'Murphy's Law' will catch up with you. You can bank on it!

Will Indiana extradite on a misdemeanor DUI and battery probation violation?

One never knows, it's always possible. All US states and territories honor each other's requests for extradition - there are no 'safe-haven' states - It is impossible to know with certainty whether a particular state will choose to extradite you for a particular offense, or not, there are simply too many variables. It may depend, in part, on the offense and the seriousness of it, and/or how badly they want you returned - most states WILL extradite for felony offenses. What you should be worrying about is the status of your drivers license. If you are charged with a DUI and have not fulfilled the obligations of your probation sentence your drivers license is undoubtedly suspended or revoked.. . . and that means EVERYWHERE.

How many times can you violate probation before you go to jail to serve the remainder of your sentence in Indiana for a class A misdemeanor?

In Indiana what is the sentence for a probation violation?

Probation IS a sentence for being found guilty of an offense. It is at the judge's discretion that they issued a probation sentence rather than sending the convicted defendant to jail.If you violate the judge's trust they may choose to send you to jail to serve the reaminder of your sentence behind bars.

Because you have not yet fulfilled your sentence for the violation it is HIGHLY likely that your drivers privileges are suspended or revoked by IN and, therefore, in every state.
