There is very little to NO evidence in the field of paranormal research that suggests a spirit could actually kill you. Most ghosts can't harm you at all, actually.
However, there have been inhuman entities which have conspired to encourage thoughts of depression and suicide, although these cases are extremely rare.
For the most part, there's almost no way to be physically harmed by a "ghost" as we know them - so don't be afraid of them! They're just people like you or me... erm, without a body, that is.
