I think that the only reason trench foot can kill is if the soldier has their foot amputated and then during the process get an infection.
It would depend how you land, and from what height. If it was a fall of ten feet, then the best you could hope for are broken legs. It is completely possible breaking them could kill you, and a fall from anywhere over thirty feet would almost certainly be fatal. oo thanks
