no.
No, that is a good use for for that plug.
No HP adapter only can used in the HP laptop , as the laptop has its own input volt , only the orginal adapter can offer the right output volt.
Unless you actually happen to have an Ethernet adapter lying around, there is no way to install it "for free."
HP 402018-001 AC Adapter will work well with an HP laptop.
If the adapter has the correct voltage, connector type and polarity, there should be no problem. The 65W and the 120W is the number of watts of power the adapter can provide. If the laptop needs 65W and the adapter can supply 120W, it should work fine. Had it been the other way around, the adapter might not be able to supply enough power for the laptop and it might get too hot and burn out.
no they are not...I use them in my shop so we only have 1 adapter at each station. Make it alot easier then having 30 for each type of laptop. If its like anything like the one we have, then just make sure the power setting and the polarity is correct before plugging it into the laptop. Using the wrong setting CAN destroy the laptop. Just as long as you follow the instructions that came with your adapter, they are not dangerous at all
I'm going to say yes

yes
The network adapter that you need to connect to your laptop would be the Ethernet or the wireless USB that plugs into your laptop. You can go online and look for some of those products at Wal-Mart.
The laptop will turn off when it is unplugged from the AC adapter
If you ever plan to connect your laptop to a wired network, you will need an ethernet adapter. If you never plan to plug it in to a network or if you will always use wireless, an ethernet adapter is not necessary.
