Alcohol and drugs will not affect the results of a pregnancy test provided that they do not contain the pregnancy hormone hCG. This includes over the counter medication and most prescription medication such as Birth Control pills and antibiotics. Only medicines that have the pregnancy hormone (such as some infertility drugs) will give a false positive.
Best thing to do though is not to use drugs or alcohol if you are trying to become pregnant.
