Guess I just made the short - sighted mistake of updating my iTunes software to the latest version!! Guess now I have to wait till the hackers play leapfrog again. Annoying thing is I own both computers (one home, one business) & just want the same collection on both. Am I asking too much??
Don't worry, you can use your iPod as a HDD to transfer your iTunes library to another iTunes & computer.
Check the tutorial bellow, it will show you how to make it step-by-step.
computers talk to each other so the should send a meessage for the itunes library. computers talk to each other so the should send a meessage for the itunes library.
The iTunes Library is a data base with information about all your media. It does NOT contain the actual media, which can be anywhere that is connected to your computer. You either have to move the actual media or share the Library if you want to use the media on another computer, either a Mac or a PC.
you cant unless it was a library with an account
An iTunes library is all the music an your computer, and on you iPod is stored. Just like a library of books, a library of songs, movies, and pictures.
sync you Iphone with your Itunes library.
Add them to your iTunes software library (on your computer), then when your iPod nano is connected via the cable you can drag them to your iPod Library. You add them to the iTunes software library either by downloading them from the iTunes store or if they already exist on your computer, go to FILE menu and ADD FOLDER. This will then list them in the iTunes library where you can drag them to the iPod.
you usually have the option to not delete all your data (song or whatever) when connecting your ipod to another computer, just make sure you don't sync your ipod with that other library.
You can download it on iTunes.
it is in your itunes music library
use iTunes
Updating the iTunes software will not affect your existing iTunes account or music library.
From your old computer, go to the 'File' menu on iTunes, go to 'Library', then 'Back up library'. Copy the backup, open with iTunes on the new computer, and it should be there.
