Let the fuel pump run for a while before trying, the fuel needs to get up to the engine. The air needs to be pushed back to the tank through the fuel pressure regulator. If you can locate the schrader valve on the fuel rail you can push it in and expel the air quicker.
It is also possible that you damaged the fuel pump by running it dry, another possibility is that sediment on the bottom of the tank had clogged the fuel filter.

If you already put gas on the car and still don't start you need to put a little gas on the gas filter. That make the car start right away. Is because it take a while fot the gas to go up went the car was totaly dry. Try it work...
replace battery & starter solenoid.. possibly carb.

i have a new coil my raptor has a new starter and it trys to turn i have drained old gas and put new still wont start
