Well there are many small pets to get. First let me start off with a hamster. A hamsters are very nice little small furry rodents with a stub tail pink nose and can fit in the palm of your hand. If you are getting a hamster get a syrain a dwarf hamster can escape its cage. Remember they are escape artists also dwarf hamsters tend to bite more. Syrains are nice and cute they dont bite and can be tamed in 3 days. They are also good for a first pet owner. Dont ever get 2 hamsters they may fight. Another choice would be 2 mice if you got a mouse you need 2 they can get bored quickly. They love having somebody with them all the time! So 2 mice would be good they also enjoy to be in a exercise wheel together! I have been having more mice then hamsters because where the place i get mice they sell them for only 2 dollars. Because they feed them to snakes. When i first walked in i was like omg look at that cute little black mouse. Then the person that worked there said these are not for sale we feed them to snakes. And i was like im willing to buy a couple for 10 dollors. Then the women said how about ill give them to you for 2 dollors each. Deal i said! I have had hamsters though mostly syrain. But mice live shorter lives then hamsters i would say about 1 or 2 years. Syrains live 2-3 years old. But i remember the time i saved the mices lives.
