I've never heard the old wives tale about conceiving in August, but perhaps it's related to the other old wives tale about tomatoes improving your odds of having a boy. Tomatoes and August happen to coincide. So enjoy the summer tomatoes, and the intimacy of conceiving a child with your husband. You are clearly ready to welcome a child into your lives, and your prayer should be for a healthy child, be it a boy or a girl. Either one will bring endless joy to your lives!
