I was told by my cousin who is an auto mechanic that dirty oxygen sensors would cause that problem. You can either replace them or you can wash them.
It isprobably not getting fuel or not getting spark.
There is a problem with the SRS...have a dealer check it.

If its the same as the mark viii then you would have to replace the bulb by removing the light that is held in with 4 or 5 screws then you can take out all wires and bulbs you need to.
If no light is on and no relay is stuck then the battery has a dead cell and needs replacing.
check all your vaccum hoses to make sure their tight and not hanging off.

Tire out of balance, bent wheel, loose lug nuts, worn out wheel bearing, defect in the tire, or steering part worn.
Brake Booster needs replaceing
Check the battery it may be low or need replacement
On a 1991 Lincoln Continental : I'm not a mechanic / technician but I have never heard of aluminum heads for the 3.8 litre Ford V6 engine So , I would assume they are cast iron
