2 things that may be the problem: the cover under the dash that goes over the evap has a seal & that may be broke. # 2 & what is most likely the causethe drain hose on firewall in engine compartment is plugged up or turned upside down. check this first but remember that just inside that evap is there & you sure don't wamt to poke a hole it
the air conditioning pump is on the passenger side thats the only thing that leaks water there
check your water pump
Yes
Water in the floor of your Dakota can mean two things. Your heater core is leaking in which case you need to keep check of the radiator fluid because your truck will overheat from lose of fluid or the drain hose that leaks condenced water to the outside when you run the A/C has come lose or is clogged
its most likely the heater core that's leaking
heater core is leaking.
go to a mechanic lol
yes
If it leaks coolant or the bearing is loose, it has failed.
this could be from the heater core. When the heater core goes out it leaks....right into the passenger side floor board If it is water, not coolant, the problem could be a plugged air conditioner drain. Easily accesible from under the hood.
For air conditioning, change the filter and ensure there are no water leaks. For heating, check your pilot light (for gas heating). Also, as with air conditioning, you need to change the filter yearly.
All weep-hole's should be on the bottom center of the water pump
