Keeping in mind that anything is possible, and depending upon how long her period lasts. . . Counting "day 1" as the first day of her period, you could be fairly safe probably up to the 8th day. So, if her period lasts 5 days, you have the first 3 days after she stops bleeding. If her period lasts for 3 days, you have the first 5 days after her period. My recommendation is that if you do not want to be saddled with a child, WEAR THE CONDOM ALWAYS or have her use some other type of Birth Control.
If you don't like wearing condoms, either find one that you feel comfortable with, use lube or dont' have sex. Period.
Condoms will help protect you and your partner from getting sexually transmitted diseaeses, but they are not 100% effective.
