You ask for the check to be canceled then after the check is canceled use the reference number and they will send you a new one. If you get on the ball it should only take 5 - 10 business days, unless the check was cashed
I would go to the address and say that I was sent mail to this address and tell them my name, and ask if they still had it. If not and it was in transit you might be able to get it from the post office
