It's probably just a loose belt. Try to have a certified mechanic diagnose it.
I have a 2001 Durango and it started , what I guess you could call bucking . I put a new Throttle Position Sensor on it and now it runs just fine ... no more "bucking".
No. Bucking, I would consider an engine performance issue and shaking would be suspension or steering issues.

If the whole car feels like its bucking it could be the transmission is slipping. Either its going bad or you need to get new transmission fluid. Sometimes older cars, especially automatics, do that if you put in a lower gear other than drive.
Bucking during acceleration can be caused by a low fuel level. When the car is running on fumes, it is not getting a constant supply of gas which will cause it to stop and go.
