If your car doesnt start, it could be the battery. But if the car starts and you unplug the negative cable and the car turns off, its the alternator.
get your starter check I had same problem it was faulty starter
moistureMight it have a cracked distributor cap which allows moisture to interfere with the start? i would say its the crank position sensor because that's what mine was doing
air mass sensor?
You may need to replace your battery.
The oxygen censor may be causing this problem. If this isn't the case then there may a problem with the coil pack.
I have just came up on this same problem with my 2000 Kia. Turns out it was the Ignition switch. $160.00 to have it replaced.
