TAKE IT TO THE VET! First however you should administer interim first aid care, starting with the stopping or minimizing the flow of blood by applying constant pressure on the wound with a topical dressing and bandaging, you then wrap the dog in a blanket to prevent or slow the onset of shock from bloodloss, you put the dog in a transport carrier cage or an adequately sized box and transport immediately!!!! Come on think about it, what would you do if YOU were shot and bleeding for Pete's sake!
Well, the vet was closed due to a snowstorm. >.>
bleeding
Wow...um. I really hope your dog didnt get shot, but if thats the case...It depends on where (s)he was shot. If its a limb, or tail, wrap a cloth above the wound tightly to help clot the bleeding. Try to get your dog into the car and find an emergancy vet's office as close to you as possible to keep your dog from stressing out, or bleeding itself out. if you dont have a car, see if you can bandage the wound. If the bullet is inside the skin, do not ever dig it out. It could cause infection, pain, and/or more blood loss. Call a mobile vet, call someone to take you to the vet. But don't ever assume that if the bullet is not lodged, that it is ok to stitch it yourself.
If you are bleeding when a dog puts his teeth on you that means it bit you. If you aren't bleeding that means it nipped or mouthed you.
yes
No, there is no shot you can give a dog to abort their pregnancy.
A dog can have a anaphalactic reaction to any shot it receives. Basically they go into shock as a result of the shot. This is not common but if your dog is having a reaction to a shot you should immediately get them back to your veterinarian.
