For there to be 'true love' going on, it has to be reciprocated. If he hates you, you should move on- it may seem like there's no one else for you now, but if you stay confident and positive about yourself someone else will come along.

Hate is a very strong word and I highly think he hates you, but the relationship is over. He has a new girlfriend now so learn from this past relationship and move on as painful as it is. You can't make someone love you.
