Firstly, your ex had his chance and he obviously screwed that up. It probably wouldn't be right to break your boyfriend's heart because of the last guy you were with finally came to his senses. I just don't thiink he should be pentalized for that. But if you are still in love with your ex then there is no reason for you to be unhappy.
Note: If it didnt work the first time you may still have problems with him down the line. So, if you do it then don't feel regret about losing what you have with your current boyfriend because he may not want to give you the chance that you gave your ex-boyfriend.
