At this point you cannot force anyone to pay attention to you and realistically keeping his distance serves a value of purpose such as being easier to move on and showing others he is not "with" you anymore. It may seem rude that he is not talking to you because you are the one that is hurt but it is in both of your best interest. You need to move on and not dwell on this one person as it has been 4 months at this point that you are wasting on someone that obviously does not want anything to do with you, has made it clear and is moving on himself. Life is too short to dwell on someone and moving forward will lead to so many opportunities. There will people that come and go throughout our lives and you will take something with you whether negative or positive from each individual think of what you have learned in this situation.
