Unfortunately this happens often. It is usually caused by jealousy! tell your girlfriend that you love her but that she cannot control every aspect of your life. Your girlfriend is afraid that you will dump her for your best friend or that maybe you are cheating on her reassure her that you are just friends and maybe even get them shopping together of they find things in common your girlfriend might to be as jealous and not care if you to keep hanging out!
