I would not think she is pregnant unless she isa) slightly crankier than before b) way fatter c) lazier d)and hoards more food. If she pushes bedding into corners, that may be another trait, but it could just be habit. My hamster Caramel duz that alot. After 21 days, if you notice VERY peculiar behavior, she may have children. Do not touch the babies!!!!! Go to http://exoticpets.about.com/od/hamsters/f/hamsterbabies.htm and that might help.

I think you can only get salmonellosis from a hamster but its very very very very VERY rare to get it; your hamster probably wont have it if he/she looks fine when you get the hamster. but anything else i dont think you can get from a hamster.

From research Ive done a Syrians hamster stays pregnant for about 16-18 days but dwarfs stay pregnant for about 19-21 days if u keep a chart u should know when she will be giving birth by marking down the day she mated with the male and count up the days till about 18 days for Syrians and 21 days for dwarfs. hope i helped
