This has happened to me twice. I put some food at the opening of the dryer duct and waited. My hamster is active at night, so I would hear him rustling around and chewing around 10pm. Then I just waited for him to crawl out. Make sure you don't make a lot of noise or scare him when he starts to come out or he may turn around and run back in.
There are many good ways. Perhaps the cheapest is to get a bucket. Bung some strong smelling fruit in there and cushion it well! This is very important. That's because a ladder leading in will only be on the outside, so the hamster will literally have to dive in. Hamsters are hardy, no question about it. But better safe than sorry.
There are also humane traps from pet stores. These aren'tthe classic mouse walks on and the metal snaps shut to kill it, it is a little tube. At the end there is some food. Shortly before it there is a little peice of plastic connected to the door. The slightest twitch will shut the door shut. The main problem is that hamsters are often hesitant and slow. So while hamster only has her whiskers twitching at the 'sensor' her body is still underneath the door, which is potentially dangerous.
If she is actually stuck in the walls you've got to find where she came in. They can fit into tiny spaces so she should be able to get out without too much hastle.
You'll have to carefully cut a hole in the wall to get to it.
you do not give a hamster a bath it will get a disease like wet tail and will surely die. A hamster shall not take a bath. it will really hurt the hamster and sooner die.
Well, if i can understand.. Your hamster was put in a ball? for the first time? it went to the corner and then there was a white substance.. In the ball or the wall?If i do understand, the white stuff was urine. Hamsters are terrified of the ball for the first time, so to get your hamster used to it-open the lid and put your hamster in- do not shut it.after they have sniffed around, put them backkeep doing this and then eventually (after around 4 days) put the hamster in the ball for 5 minutes, rolling around.NEVER leave a hamster out for more than 10 minutesMy hamster is about 6months or soemthing and he isn't scared of it. he likes it. from tashy2712

Well how long have you had it? Maybe: 1. You need to play/train with your hamster some more. 2. Or it maybe just doesn't like you.
