generally for a new born baby heart rate will be more.it goes on decreasing as we become aged.general normal heart beat for ordinary man is 70-75.it may increase or decrease slightly during excercise and rest.

  • during exercise;more amount of work is done by our skleton and muscles,so more and more glucose is used for energy production in form of A.T.P.
  • for the transport of glucose to each and every part of muscle blood is required.hence this blood is pumped by heart.so it beats fast to pump more and more amount of blood to muscle or particular organ.
  • so that it is provided with more A.T.P .
  • during rest as no organ requires more amt of A.T.P it beats normally than compared to it in exercise
