There is a Civil War reenactment in Aug., at Hale Farm and Village. This is a yearly event. Zoar, Ohio hosts a Civil War reenactment every other year in Sept. The next event will take place in 2011.

This Memorial weekend (2010) there is a Civil War Reenactment in Spokane, WA. It's Saturday - Monday. For information, contact me.

this is (1) reenactment of the civil war, (2) the time when the men of the north and south returned back to their homelands and resumed their own way of living. yet, the civil war was "not" as brutal as the vietnam war--I was there and the killing and torture was in no comparison.
