There is a Civil War reenactment in Aug., at Hale Farm and Village. This is a yearly event. Zoar, Ohio hosts a Civil War reenactment every other year in Sept. The next event will take place in 2011.

this is (1) reenactment of the civil war, (2) the time when the men of the north and south returned back to their homelands and resumed their own way of living. yet, the civil war was "not" as brutal as the vietnam war--I was there and the killing and torture was in no comparison.

The Union wore blue coats and pants with a black hat but sometimes it would be brown because of the weather it has been in. (i know because i just went on a field trip to a civil wore reenactment)
